As a guide in your journey to meeting the NC requirements to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, supervision will include but is not limited to, the discussion of the theoretical technique that you use with our clients, ethical conflicts, and self-care.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I meet the requirements by the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board to provide clinical supervision to those seeking licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of North Carolina.

North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board requires a “minimum of 100 hours of supervision on a regular basis, by a Social Work Administrator certified by the Board on at least on level and who has a minimum of five years administration experience in a Social Work or Mental Health setting.  A maximum of fifty (50) hours may be through group supervision.
